Cheshire Home Support by Yasmin

A friendly first step

A little support starts
with a conversation.

You don't need all the answers. Just an idea of what would make everyday life a little easier for you or someone you care about.

What to expect

Time to understand.
Space to decide.

Enquiring about support is a chance to ask questions and see whether the service feels like a good fit.

01

A conversation about everyday life

Tell Yasmin a little about yourself, your location and what you would like help with. That might be something specific, such as the weekly shopping, or a general feeling that a little more support would be useful.

02

Talk through what would work

We discuss your preferences, the support required and availability. The conversation is also a chance to establish whether your needs fit the non-medical service and to answer your questions.

03

Agree the practical details

Before support begins, we agree the hourly rate, any additional charges and the arrangements for visits. Everything starts with a shared understanding of the help being offered.

Useful to have in mind

A few things
we can talk about.

  • Your postcode and where support is needed
  • The everyday tasks you would like help with
  • Your preferences and usual routine
  • When you are hoping support might begin
  • Any questions you or your family would like to ask

Enquiring for
someone you care about?

You're very welcome to start the conversation.

Arranging support for a family member can bring up lots of questions. We will take time to understand what would help, while keeping the person's own wishes, dignity and independence at the centre.

Practical support and companionship can also be discussed where families would value some time for other commitments. Suitability depends on the level of support needed, as personal care and medication administration are not offered.

Meet the person behind the support

Your questions, answered

A few things you may be wondering.

Clear answers, so you can decide what feels right for you.

Do I need to know exactly what support I want?

No. It is fine to start with a general idea of what feels difficult or what you would like help with. We can talk through the services and discuss what may be suitable.

Can I help arrange support for a parent or relative?

Yes. Family enquiries are welcome. The person receiving support should be involved in the decisions wherever possible, with their wishes and preferences at the centre.

What happens before visits begin?

We discuss the support required, location, availability, hourly rate and any additional charges. The practical arrangements and suitability of the service need to be agreed before support begins.

Can I send a booking request through the website?

There is no online booking form. Support is arranged through an individual conversation so your needs, preferences, availability and costs can be discussed clearly.
